Hello
My name is Brian McArthur, I am the owner of Ponderosa Woodwork. I am among the fourth generation of McArthur's residing in Nelson BC and my care and commitment to this vibrant community is at the root of who I am. I am driven to supply the highest quality of product while at the same time aid the local woodworking community to do the same.
My Story
Graduating the Fine Woodworking program at Selkirk in 2012, is where my professional career began, which is why it is so fulfilling to now fill-in as an instructor for the program. My career has led to many opportunities to learn and gain experience through various building techniques such as: timberframe, high-end millwork, custom woodwork, kitchen and cabinet installations, finish carpentry, as well as building complete homes from start to finish. I am also spearheading an upcoming local community cooperative that will help to support local artists and woodworkers alike.
I am inspired by the fact that we all ended up in this lovely little town and that we can work together to make it even better. I am determined to do my best work for you.
